Adding Scale Configurations

This topic describes how to add your scale configurations. Scale configuration defines the scale location on your system, for example, USB.

1. On the ShipExec Management Studio home page, click Companies.
2. From the Companies page, do one of the following:
   • To add a scale configuration at the company level, click the icon for the company to which you want to add the scale configuration. The Company page displays.
   • To add a scale configuration at the site level, click the icon for the company, then click the Sites tab, and then click the icon for the site for which you want to add a scale configuration.

3. From the Scales tab, click Scale Configurations.
4. Click Add Scale Configuration. The Add/Update Scale Configuration dialog box displays.

5. Type the name of the scale in the Name box.
6. Select the communication option you want. (This illustration uses USB).
7. Select the driver you want from the Set Scale Driver drop-down list.
8. Click Save. The Scale Configuration displays.
